update on saving on electricity..

well, as you all know I've been trying to be a concervative person, and try to save money, shutting off our puters 1/2 day, and drying 1/2 the laundry.  well, let me tell you what has worked and what isn't gonna.  First, as for shutting off the puters, it takes me about an hour to open both these stupid tangs, and I have to open DH's first, cause he is primary and to get internent on my laptop. but this waiting and clicking is driving me nuts, so right now.  I'm leaving one on.  second, laundry, screw this stupid clothes dryer rack, its going back, i'm going to dry my towels on chairs and stair rails, cause for some reason, my towel loads are taking 1 1/2 times to dry and using up alot of juice.  oh, and by the way I made the homemade laundry detergent and so far I like it, and can't believe how cheap and easy it was to make.  Thanks for the Recipe Micbrook !!  Now, any more suggestions on how to save money?  I'm willing to try anything.  DID you hear about the SNOW?

Sounds like your plan is working better than mine!  Still can't get the kids to turn off lights, so I'm constantly running after them to turn them off!  Fun, yes?  We DID get extra blankets on the kids beds, so we don't have to turn the heat up quite as much as night. Hopefully that will save some fuel in the long run! 

Sorry to hear about your "woes" with the dryer rack!  I'd be taking it back myself!

Well there you go! Got any plans this week?? wanna do something??  I have Wednesday and Thursday.... I just have to meet with corrine on Wednesday @ 9... so after that I'm good.... I know you have an appt on thursday...so maybe after that if your not doing anything?  

Jessica, would love meeting you,Thurs I go into town I"ve got a list of things to do, including helping mom. and need to be back home by 1:30 so its just not a good time, your working on Friday right??  I could meet you then, MLM has special olympics and I could drop him off for that and meet for something.  Let me know, as for next week i'm open everyday but WEd. Would love going for a walk.

Um.. Friday I have off... I have an appt at 9:40  What time can u drop mlm off?  I can meet u for 8:30 at the mall... and we can walk then I can go to my appt...   Also next week I have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with no plans yet... unless corrine makes me another or the sleep study results are bad,....

Special Olympics are 9-12, If you want to stop in after your appt. I'll be at the bowling alley till noon.
