Hey guys and gals,

I am on the two week liquid diet and it's day two, I have been following the book they gave me about the types of liquids to have and what I am confused about is how many calories, yesterday it added up to 650 cals for the day, and that seems a tad low but then I guess after surgery it will be like that, I dunno, all I know is I am ready to gnaw on someones arm.
What did you all do?

I was miserable the whole two weeks, I was hungry all the time - I ate a lot of sf jello and drank a lot of water.

For many people they are fine after the first 3 days, hopefully this will be the case for you.

Oh Im sorry that must be hard to deal with. Ask your nut you should be allowed more calories that that I think. Can you have soup broth that may help a little. Anyway I wish you luck YOU CAN DO IT!!! Hang in there.

Day 2-3 are the hardest. SF Popsicles got me through the need to chew. I'd eat 2 or 3 at a sitting!
Also, mix up what you're drinking/eating. Shakes, yogurt, SF custard. Keep it interesting.

It's not easy, but look at the goal- laprascopic surgery. Keep busy, out of the kitchen. I;m very luck that there are 3 adults in my house that can fix meals for themselves. I do my liquids and vacate the kitchen. They fend for themselves.

Tuesday _ ends 4 weeks +1 day of liquids!!! and get my diet advanced to soft foods with my Nut and surgeon appointments. -   YAHOO!.

So how come I still end up doing the dishes ?????
