Who's getting a flu shot this year?

I haven't had one in eons - I use to be one of the people that got sicker from the shot than without it....of course if my understanding that flu shots have dramatically changed over the years and this wouldn't be true anymore....now my excuse is my fear of needles......

but after this bout this week - I'm getting a shot.

What do you all do?

I have an appointment to get mine on the  28th  at my pcp.

I have gotten one cold from the children this year.  usually dont get  anything   but this time i got sick  but didnt have to get anitbiotics  woo hoo.

I got  a cold at the end of school this year  and had to go on antibiotics but not this time.
but i have gotten flu shots for the past  15 years   and will again.

Me Me Me!!  I have to. I have an immune disorder.    I have been so thankful, I haven't been sick with cold or flu since before my surgery.  I wonder if it is because all the vitamins I take?

The vitamins and if you are like me better eating habits....better exercise habits......whatever the reason - that's great.

You ladies are smart, I'm going to call my doc's office on Monday to make my appointment - I don't want to be sick like this again. Sad thing is I haven't felt like walking.....and I'm actually missing it!

I am also getting a flu shot.. on the 29th our school has a nurse from the doctors office come up..I dont go with out it. im like kathy have immune problem..

I have to get one... I work in a hospital.....I never use to either cause it use to make me sick... and I hate  throwing up.... but i got one last year... and I was fine

I did get one just a few weeks ago at my PCP. I've been getting one every year for years now 14 years working in a hospital and now 15 years having a daycare.  

While at EMMC the pharmacist visited me. He talked about the pneumonia vaccine and flu shot and offered both if I wanted.
I took him up on his offer- 1 stop shopping- gotta love it!

got mine on oct. 8th. i get one every year. i work around a lot of people plus i have asthma. haven't been sick sick in years. just have to deal with migraines once in a while.

I just got my last week.  I've always gotten one since my Mom had breast cancer and I was her caregiver its more of force of habit now.  They usually have it at work but I got mine at my annual check up.  My PCP said that she only wanted me to lose 25 more pounds tops, which is what Dr. Loggins gave me for a total, I think Corrine wanted me to more than that 38 more but the doctor said no way.  Time will tell.  I've lost 64 per my scale.  I feel wonderful.  I love this tool.  Sorry I'm rambling.
