Home today again

My youngest DS was sick with the stomach flu bug Monday and Tuesday and now my oldest DS has it.  I just pray that it does not hit me.  I definetly do not want to go through was these poor guys are going through.  I also hope my middle DS doesn't either because he is a diabetic and illness are not fun with him.  I tried to go to work today but had to come home early .  I hate it when my kids are sick.  This is so not fun!!!

oh, i'm so sorry, I know it is aweful to see you babies sick.  I remember those days like it was yesterday.  the only good thing about it was they liked to cuddle.  I miss those days,

The last thing my DS wants to do is cuddle with his mom.  He is 14 now and that is just "not cool".  

I can relate to your kids - man this stuff is miserable - I've been home yesterday and today because of if.

I too remember the days of sick kids at home. I'd make up the couch with a fitted sheet and blankets so that they were near me. DH and I would take turns as to which one of us stayed home depending on if it was my day off, or his. DH NEVER minded taking sick time off from work at the prison- he'd much rather be home if it was my work day.

Hope this doesn't go through your whole family. Yuck !

I think the older they are the more pitiful they are.  I have to be the one to stay home.  My DH was stay at home dad until this week.  Of course his first day of work one of the kids gets sick.  I may end up with whole week off at this rate.  He can't be calling out now.  It took sooooooooooo long to find him a job again.  We never thought that him being a stay at home dad would hurt him later on when we were ready for him to return to the workforce.  It was a decision we made together but does not look good on a resume.  I am just so relieved someone was willing to finally give him a chance.
