Sleep study...
I took a look at my medical claims. I had the sleep study on 1/9/08. My return visit with the doctor was on 1/30/08 with the results. On 2/20/08 I received my CPAP machine- which was so delayed because I needed to take time off from work to get to the medical supply place and be fit for a mask and get instructions.

I know 2 weeks sounds like a long time, but it will fly by, you won't hear from your insurance or Dr's office approval till at least then anyway, believe me it will be soon and fly by. keep busy... I can't tell you how long it took, I didn't have to have the test, don't even know why I didn't, but glad I didnt'...
I think I was a little sooner than 2 weeks as I had to have a SECOND sleep study to titrate the Cpap! Then it took a couple more weeks to get the machine.....equipment companies....AARRGGHHH! Hang in there! I don't think that will hold you up too much. Once you get the results, hopefully, if you've done everything else, maybe they can get you submitted even if you don't have your cpap yet...if they know you're working on it, you know what I mean? Hope you get results quick though! Good luck......Keep us posted! Ruth
