Good Morning all!!!

My son just got his first letter from  EMMC so now he has to  make an orientation appointment and go to a support group.

He will call on Tuesday to make his initial appointment.

I hope he can jump all the hoops  as  he is youngs  and  really  needs to get  the weight under control again.

He sees now that i can  eat  more than a tablespoon  so it doesn;t  scare him anymore.
Now he needs to get educated to see if this is what he really wants to do.

I have told him that we have many people.   some  so compiiant that go by the book they succeed  very fast.   Some    somewhat compliant that  succeed  at a little slower  pace and some  that  are partially compliant  that   get there  but are really slow.   and then we have the ones that try to  beat the system  that are not compliant at all and  I dont know why they even started this journey.
I have told him that if  he thinks now about   how he can eat around the surgery then the surgery is not for him.  But   i am just trying to give him  all the scenarios  now it is his time to get educated and decide if   this is for him.

Have a great day  all.   I am gonna get my walk in   and  wash the school bus today.

Have a great  day!!!!

Kudos to your son for looking into getting his weight under control!  This IS a huge decision and he should definitely research everything before he "jumps in"!  Let us know what he decides!

Have fun washing the bus!!!

I am off to Church at 730, then taking the boys to Religious Ed classes for 9, then going to Mom and Dad's for lunch.  I think we are gonna check out the thrift shops while we are down there too.......got nothing to lose, right!?!?!

Enjoy your Sunday!!!!!!

Patty you have been such a positive role model for RNY surgery for your son and others. I hope he explores the program and finds out whether he wants to participate.
This surgery is such a gift- but a permanent one. He needs to know all the facts.

Washing a school bus?? I can't even manage to get my car vacuumed inside. Is your bus one of those large ones? Or a small bus?  I have this picture in my head of you on the roof with a bucket and sponge. Be careful.

Car vacuuming/cleaning- good project for today!
