This loosers bench is getting very full

I got home at about 1PM this afternoon. I'm so glad to be in my own home and bed. The hospital was very noisy. Thank heavens for ear plugs- part of the EMMC patient box.

Dr. Toder says everything went fine, my liver was easily moved with the laprascopic tools. She was happy with my weight loss since seeing her in June.  I awoke with 5 holes rather than a zipper . The 1st day my belly felt like a horse had kicked my in the gut. I'm a side sleeper, so that was interesting trying to position pillows to support me.

Everytime I got up to pee I'd do one or 2 laps around the nursing station. I was happy to find that Monday night I'd done 6 laps and didn't need to wear the sequential pressure cuffs they put on both legs.

I had 2 roommates while I was there. The second one came in last night. I am always finding out small world stuff- here's one more. She had RNY in May '08 with Dr. Toder! She was there due to an auto accident- not RNY related. That was nice to have her to talk to.

My friend Sue came to support group and then visited, along with Patty. Patty- my dear angel- thank you!!!!! I got lots of e-mails from by buds here- that was so nice! Thank you all.

It's been 1/2 hr since my last protein "snack". Time to go sip, sip, sip.

Welcome back - glad everything is going well for you. Leaving the hospital to come home was the best medicine for me - not high on my list of good experiences....wish they had given us earplugs in my package!!!!
