Good news for me!

I has a HSG xray test today to make sure all was good with my uterus in order to have kids and I was cleared, all is well, no polycystic ovary syndrome or any blockage or whatever. I love it and am excited that I am doing well with my diet too!


How is everyone else doing today?

That is awesome, Lissa!   Have you spoken with the surgeon yet about getting pregnant after surgery?  How long do they make you wait?

After RNY surgery they require about 18 months before trying to get pregant, I figure after waiting that long already with no succes (and with no explained reason other than maybe my weight) it is time to do something for me, this surgery, and then we can have our family, through this whole process that is all I think about! I know I can work through the next 6 months as I go through the Dr. supervised diet, I KNOW I CAN DO IT, thats what I have to tell myself and I will need to utilize this page alot!

That's fabulous that you don't have PCOS - I do, so I know it certainly adds to the difficulties of both weightloss as well as child bearing.

That is awesome!  I am currently in the throws of being a new mom (twins 18 months).  It is the most fun you will EVER have!  We laugh all the time...almost until we're peeing.
