Cheryl, I am with you.  I am scared as well.  Unfortunately, I do not really follow politics all that much, and not really up on all the info.  We are living paycheck to paycheck right now and not really seeing end in sight.

I have never lived through a time like this for sure. I can't tell you who to vote for - but I can tell you to look at history - whenever there is a republican white house the economy goes down the tubes and the national debt goes through the roof....with a democratic white house we have the best economies and the lowest national debt. Before I get flamed for this - I am a registered independant - this is just history that I'm pointing out here.

Hi Cheryl,
 Add me to the list--I'm scared too. I never thought I'd see the day when my America was struggling like this--and it makes me sad as well as concerned for our future.
 And of course, having gone to a Southern Baptist Church for so many years (not saying anything against ANY faith--I still consider myself a Christian even tho I don't go to church regularly and haven't in quite some time now) sermons on the book of Revelation and the end times are echoing in my head ("money will be useless, can't buy or sell unless you take the mark of the beast" etc).
  All I can do is hope and pray we will turn ourselves around. We've done so before! Lori

Scared is one word for it! Hard to raise your kids to be optimistic about their future when it's looking so bad!  I'm scared for all of us!

I agree Ruth ~ how do we teach our children to be optimistic about the future when it looks so bleeke!??

These are totally scary times. Everything that is on the news. All the natural disasters along with everything else makes it very scary indeed. I could go deeper but not here. There is hope but its slim. Just pray for the right person to be put into office and maybe things can start to turn around.{{{{HUGS}}}}
