So it's been awhile...
Hi all!
I know it has been such a long time since I have been on this board and there are so many new faces! I just happened to stumble across the site again today and decided to stop by and check up on you all. It's amazing to see how far people have come in the months I have been gone. For the people who have absolutely no idea who I am or need a refresher, I had RNY with Dr. Toder on Aug 8, 2007. I am from Maine and was there up until June when I got married and moved to California to attend law school. Things have been so busy for me and I just haven't had a chance to get on OH. I miss Maine horribly though and long to come back once I get my J.D. so hopefully I will be seeing some of you at meetings again in a few years.
I am now over a year out and I have to admit weight loss has fallen to the bottom of my priorities list. I haven't weighed myself since June but I know that I haven't gained since my clothes continue to get bigger. I am now wearing a size 1 at LB, a 14 I think?? A big change from the 24 I was wearing pre-op. I will also most likely be having some skin removal surgery but not for a few years as my student budget wont allow it currently.
Hopefully I will be on more often now. Best wishes to everyone!

This is Donna, the old Phi Mu chapter advisor. I'm so proud of your successful weight loss and you look WOW!! Congrats on your marriage and making a new life in pursuing your dreams! I have no doubt you will be successful! I came acrsoss you in this forum and had to drop by and say hello. I go for my surgery this Thurs (30th) with Dr. Toder.
