Has anyone...

OMG let me just say... I LOst 3 lbs from Yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone here had a baby after wls?  How did it go? Is it possible? I know they said something about waiting a year.... should you wait longer?  Any help would be great... I only have one of my own and I might want another one with this man that I love... He doesnt care either way and of course I want to have a girl but it doesnt matter at this point.... I just want to wait till my sons a bit older.... as u get older you have more patience and i went through so much with my sons father that i wanted to see how different this would be... My sister has a beautiful baby girl and you can c her on my avatar, and she has one on the way... so i might change my mind when the new one comes... but any info would be great....

If you go to the WLS and pregnancy board on OH, I'm sure lots of people there could answer your questions about post-WLS babies!  I know people do it all the time but I think Dr L asks that you wait at least a year before trying.   Good luck!!!!!  (I'm too OLD to have any more but let me tell you.......sometimes........I'd love to see what DH and I would make for a baby..hehehe    We have none together........yours, mine, and ours kinda thing!)  

Alright JEssica, 3 lbs. wow, I gainned one??? went out for chinese last night, so i'm sure its jus****er gain, ?? I hope, hehe... I don't know about having a baby, but I do know, I dont agree with having more patience as you get older.  I know my DH and i Don't, especially with kids.  But you still plenty young.  as for you Ruth, I hope your kidding right??

My Surgeon's office wants women to wait at least 18 months before they get pregnant.  I am sure others are different, but you have to figure with the 1st 18 mth window you aren't absorbing alot of nutrients, so everything would go to the baby first.
