so went with my sister and Mother today for my mom's day surgery in Portland.  First, let me tell you, MY mom will argue with herself is she knew she would win.  she has no sence of humor, is the biggest misor I've ever ment, and has more money then anyone I know.  My sister took her and my Dad in about 8 years ago, they build a small appt. next to their house.  so my sister deals with her daily.  I mostly went with them today for my sister, more then my mom, cause I knew she would need some support with dealing with her and helping the nurses.  so anyway, when asked what pils she takes she was naming them off, my sister and I like to have fun, we laugh and make jokes (LIKE my Dad), and my mom was aweful, I thought the dr. was going to scream.  so after the dr. left I said, "MOM, you really should take vitamins"  she said I do.  my sister said, "since when", my mom says, I take one a month, its good enough, I'm healthy.  well, all the way home we argued with her about taking vit. and at her age, for her bones it would be better for her.  well,  Lets just say, she isn't going to take them.  so, after the week my sister had trying to organize this whole thing, she kept messing up the times for surgery, and argued with the dr.'s office, got the liquid diet confused, and the bowl prep, confused, my sister kept calling the dr.'s office to get it straight, and my mom would call back and get it all messed up again.  The Nurse was going nuts.  anyway, as we got to the surgical center today, guess what "YUP< She brought up all that crap again, and started arguing again.  OMG,  BLESS my SIster,  I came home and took a nap.  MY, Dad is always telling us "I've earned my wings".  Thanks for letting me vent.   Hugs, Cheryl

haha,  she surfs the net?  OMG, that is awesome.  My mom won't even take a vitamine cause its too much money, never mind buy a computer.  I have learned to shut my mouth, but man, it is hard.  My sister, is alot better with her then I, she can tell her, to shut up, yet defend her alot better then I.  She is more supportive of my mom, I have to walk away.  Although, she does drive my sister nuts too, you should see my mother and my brother in law, lol, we almost have to hold them down.  but, he helps her on a daily basis, so got to give him koodo's there.

Stephanie, stop it, I know sometimes we feel like all we do is whine, but we all do it.  YOu've been here for us, we want to help.  If you ever want the privacy, please PM me anytime.  This do work out.  I know, I see my kids, and hurt inside.  Just want to help, but need to enjoy our lives at this stage in our lives too.  It is hard, we feel guilty, but we've always worked hard and had plenty of rough times ourselves.  Just keep plugging away, take care of yourself, days will be better.  BIG HUGS< Cheryl
