I need help with a new business

Ok so for years now I have been wanting to start my own business and living in maine I believe in small businesses. So after years of thought and research I have decided to open a clothing consignment shop. This would help a lot of people in all walks of life since the prices of everything are going way up. My store is going to sell quality used clothing for men, woman, and children and a fraction of the price. In Ct these stores are big business they are slammed busy all the time and sell good stuff like prada and versace for a fraction of the price. I am looking for any ideas or thoughts on this business and am also wondering if anyone may have any clothing or accessories they would like to donate. I would arrange either pick up if you live close by or pay for shipping please let me know . I live in Augusta Me

With surgery in less than 6 weeks I'm gonna be in need of "new" clothes in the very near future !!

That sounds awesome!  I will have some clothes to donate... my kids are always growing out of thier clothes.. and i will have some after surgery....  I live in sabattus so its not that far from augusta.  Good Luck!!
