dh AND i JUST GOT BACK FROM OUR "KEEPING BUSY FOR 3 HOURS" RUN. OPEN HOUSE TODAY FROM 9-12 AND TOMORROW 4-7. REALTOR THINKS HE IS GOING TO PICK UP FAIR TRAFFIC, AND NO ONE SHOWED UP TODAY. WHO KNOWS ABOUT TOMORROW. THAT IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING FOR 4 DAYS, GETTIng READY FOR THIS OPEN HOUSE AND IF NOONE COMES, AT LEAST I WILL HAVE A CLEAN HOUSE LOL Funny story, i hired a "home stager" to come in and give me suggestions and ideas about what to do to make the house more saleable. Might as well have paid someone just to come in and beat me up for 2 hours. Ouch!! Fav comment of the night, Stager: looking at the wall paper in one room," So.....what were you going for here, exactly????" OUCH. I can laugh now but Monday night I was picking up the pieces of my ego....
WE are having house guests who are coming for the Fair. WE are members and growers for the Maine Christmas Tree Growers and they/we have a booth at the Fair. DH and I man the booth on Sunday and help set up all the Christmas trees for judging, I sometimes judge wreaths or will be a tie breaker if necessary. The people staying with us are with us until Tuesday, so will be part of the open house madness on Sunday night-we will have to stay at the fair until 7!!!
Good times, tho, Emerson Drive and Lady Antebellum are playing this year!! Way Cool
