Just wondering (and desperate not to have this happen again! LOL Do you think they have too much sugar in them for us? I have not eaten any sugar at all and don't want to add dumping to this!

what does the label say? our goal is to eat less than 5 grams of sugar per serving. I bet you could have one. Try it at home to see what happens.

I looked up prunes on CalorieKing.com and depending on what type you buy....some have ALOT of sugar!  If you are buying them pre-packaged, check the label REALLY closely!  Good luck!  Ruth

Prunes are ok, don't look at the mg of sugar. IT is probably natural sugar. Look at the ingrediants and see if there is something added.

Thanks Kathi. Some are in syrup and while they are delicious cold, I am sure there is added sugar there. But if I can find some organic natural dried ones they might work. I am thinking 2-3 a day might keep the doctor away! Worth a try!

You are welcome!  I wonder if you can find Prune Juice made with Splenda. I know you can find Apple Juice and that is what my surgeon's office recommended when I had constipation issues.
