just thought I'd share on how i made out with my diet this weekend.  You all know that I have "NO" will power.

Friday night: hamburg pattie slice tomatoe  "GOOD"
Sat:  B-pro shake, 3 slices bacon (sorry, left overs calling my name), L-sliced turkey, che stick "GOOD", D- hot sausage, meatball (Got stuck) done eating for night
Sun: here we go: pro shake, cheese stick (again, 3 slices bacon), from this point on, there was turkey sand, chips, cake, choc, you NAME IT, I was soooo bad and grazed all day long, a few drinks too....
Let me add I did so much walking, my hips were making a grinding noise and took several advil during the weekend.
Mon: came home, back on track
Tue: weighted in???ready for this,  "I Gainned One lb"... I WILL TAKE IT!  so all in all I think I was 75% good.

See, it worked out! Just stop calling your meals "good" or "bad". That won't get you anywhere!

Gross question - have you pooped since you went camping? I'm thinking that pound could be you know what!!!

haha, funny you would ask that question.  when I go "ANYwhere"  I always have a poop problem, so I always take a stool softner, just for good luck, so yes, I didn't have any issues. lol  although was nice to come home to my own warm bathroom, that didn't smell like musty pee.

1 pound!  Could be fluid too!  I don't think it's all "bad" ...sheeshh...I think you did great!  Good for you with all the walking too!  Too bad the joints don't like it though!

It is aweful, as bad as I hate exercising, I really am trying so hard to push myself, but boy, being in this much pain certainly could give me an excuse to not do it at all.  But, I'm not stopping.  just sitting all day, don't help either, then my back hurts me more, there just ain't no relief, no matter what I do....

Hey Cheryl.....I hear ya - it's hard when you are socializing and food is always a big part of a social event. I"m going to my camp tomorrow with two of my friends - big guys with hearty appetites who like lots of good foods - so I'm sure that I will be less than perfect tomorrow myself.....but it's ok.

Have you ever talked to a physical therapist about setting up a modified routine to work around your pain issues? LIke anything - you need to find the right person - I was lucky the PT that I saw at EMMC was the best I have ever been to - she found effective ways for me to do various exercises that didn't work against the pain.

I actually have not, but I should talk to my niece she is a pt.  I would love to do water arobics but the time they have it here in Lewiston, is not good for me, it is too early, cause my little man's bus dont' pick him up til 8am plus the drive is a 20 min.  plus, becoming a memember is just crazy $.  I"m not spending that for doing 2 classes a week, PLUS, I have to pay $3. a class.  I just try to walk in intervals, after i've done 30 mins, I'm usually limping, when I loose more weight I hope it will get better.  I can do it, I just try to suck it up.  My DH helps me get up the stairs at night.  thanks for your comment
