Looking back at reality

Today is my VLOG update day (I haven't done it yet, and will let you know when I have), but I have been keeping track on my YouTube profile of my week to week weight loss. I know the ticker keeps track as does the Daily Plate where I log what I eat every day, but for some reason, the way I have posted it on my YouTube profile made me see it a bit more clearly today. Many of you have heard me bemoaning my slow weight loss compared to others and last week was tough since I didn't end up losing anything. But as I look back over the weeks, I can see that my loss is really quite fine! Beter than fine really. I am very happy with it and I can see that last week was just a mini-stall or regrouping if you will. (Please remind me I said this when it happens again!) Here are my stats since the beginning:

1.4.08 - 328 (1st orientation meeting)
8.11.08 - 303 (surgery date)(-25)
Wk. 1 - 8.18.08 - 297 (-5)
Wk. 2 - 8.25.08 - 292 (-5)
Wk. 3 - 9.1.08 - 288 (-3)
Wk. 4 - 9.8.08 - 284 (-4)
Wk. 5 - 9.15.08 - 284 (-0)
Wk. 6 - 9.22.08 - 280 (-4)

Now really...there is NOTHING wrong with those numbers. When have I ever, EVER, lost this mu*****onsecutive weeks? Never!

So... I am making a resolution to stop whining! To work my tool and lose lose lose! Yippie!

Your tool is working! You're making progress at a healthy rate.  Just think what it was like before- you'd be nowhere where you are today.

When I whine remind me of the same

Great Job Terri, boy I thought of you this weekend.  I went camping with my little man, and had to walk up hill to the bathroom, well, bad enought to do it 20 times a day for me, but double that with my little man, plus 5 times in the middle of the night.  I said, boy Terri would be happy to just walk to the mail box after a weekend like this one.  Can you imagine in old times, have to travel for wood and water.  Boy we are so spoiled and I can see why we are all obest, compared to back then.  Keep up the wonderful days, and remember your great grammy, next time you have to walk a little, it actually makes me stronger and more determined.  Big Hug, Cheryl

Lordy girl - isn't it hard not to compare yourself to everyone else? I went through that with my weight loss in the beginning....ummm....6 months.....now I've changed my obsession to be how can so many people my height & weight wear clothing 2 sizes smaller than me?
