My 6 months checkup at 7 1/2 months and Bangor

I don't know why they didn't schedule my six month checkup until now - but I'm glad - they also missed my 3 month labs so this is the first check I've had - since I was a mess at three months and didn't question them on it. But...everything is good, no problems - that is a relief.

And....oh man did I have a blast shopping in Bangor today. It's the first time that I've bought any clothes since I started losing weight. Keep in mind I had a huge rapid weight gain - so I had clothes in a variety of sizes still.

And...and.....and......I finally got a WiiFit!

Good news on your check up.
I tried to change post surgical appointments and DH's surgery but couldn't get dates that matched. I have my 6 week check up and 2 weeks later DH has surgery. Dr. Toder is now scheduling surgery in January/Feb !!
The Wifit sounds like fun. Please let us know how you like it.

Good for you!1 I am having fun shopping for clothes too, but get so frustrated with women's sizes being so not standard. I am trying to find an outfit for a wedding Sat-outdoor and it is suppose to be cool, and tried on clothes steadyfor an hour yesterday at Dress barn. Size 10-14. Geesscchhh.

Tell me about this WiiFit that everyone is talking about...whee have I been in a cave???

I went to dress barn yesterday and love their clothes, though I found that their sizes are completely out of whack. Some 3x fit, some were too big, same with 2x. I ended up with a size 20 jacket (and there is NO WAY I am a size 20...no way at all. It was a bit snug but wearable for my ordination and hopefully for awhile afterward. Have you tried CH Banks at the bangor mall? I don't know if they have dressy stuff, but I like their clothes.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO GO TO DRESSBARN!!!! (it must be the only store I missed yesterday)

I went to banks in the mall....not quite my style.....I may be 52....but the clothes seemed matronly....but then I refuse to grow up. eta....and I didn't seem much in there that looked like the clothes you wear....and I like your style....hmmmm.....maybe I didn't look close enough

I had good luck at Burlington Coat Factory - have you tried there? They just put out new stock.

Sizing is insane - why can't women's clothes be sized like mens?

The WiiFit is a video game console by Nintendo that attaches to your tv - actually the Wii is the console then you buy the WiiFit like a game. It's interactive and lots of fun - I also have a dance game...bowling....others...
