Just a quick update on me...

I started having gallbladder attacks 2 or 3 weeks ago pretty bad. I think I had had a few before but I thought it was gas. Anyway I had my gallbladder taken out on Wed 9/10. I think this hurts more than my bypass did but maybe because I've lost so much weight and I havent fully recovered from the bypass yet? I dont know.

I broke up with the girl I had been with for about 2 years and have a new girlfriend now who couldnt be more perfect for me. I've known her since high school and I think we are perfect for eachother.

I bought a house 8/29 in Randolph, and LOOOOOOVE IT!

I hope you heal quickly, Jackie. Congrats on the new girlfriend and the new house. Looks like things are looking up for you! Take care of yourself and keep us updated. 

I haven't been through gallbadder surgery myself, but I have read where several people said it hurt a lot more than wls.

Sounds like you've had a lot of changes in your life!  That's awesome!  Congrats!   Hope the gallbladder stuff is resolved now......that's a bummer you had to have that out too!  Keep us posted!  Ruth

Hmmm I had my gall bladder out 8 months before my WLS. Honestly I did not think it was bad. but since you had one surgery already it is bound to be more painful now. Too bad you didn't have Dr Loggins he checks for Gall stones before surgery and will take out gall bladder at time of WLS if need be.  Wishing you the best.

I think it hurts worse this time. Or the pain is lingering longer anyways....My surgeon did check for stones before surgery, I just didnt have any then otherwise he would have done it at the same time.
I guess one of the surgeons in Bangor takes everyones gallbladder when he does the surgery.....
