Walking today

I need to walk today, at least 40 mins so I can reach my goal.  As I stated yesterday I hurt my hip yesterday doing a lunge and it is causing alot of pain.  Any of you (Ruth) have any suggestions to still get in my mins. and not aggravate the hip more.  I want to be able to walk tomorrow at "FleaMarkets" with Ruth.  Besides, me not being able to walk tomorrow, I will loose my challenge this week.  I need to figure something out.  maybe stack more wood.  I'm going to do it. I am determinded...

Where's it hurting?  Have you tried some ice or heat on it?  make sure you stretch before you walk....some dynamic stretching is best....just moving and warming up the joint!  Maybe try a stationary or recumbent bike or something instead of walking? 
BTW...We WILL be walking tomorrow!   Maybe not quickly, but we'll be walking!  hehe

thank you, I think I might do arms and stack wood today, I hope to do enought walking to be able to count it toward my goal.  the pain is in my ass/hip. deep in, I have to go up stairs like a little baby, one step at a time, I get a sharp pain.  taking some more advil today.  I will stretch, but NO lunges for me.

after moving around a bit and a hot shower it feels pretty good right now, I think I might try to get in a walk after all.    I'm leaving for a few hours, bowling and a few snacks for tomorrow, yeeeehaaa!!!
