OH Yeah! I like this thread! LOL
The people at the top of our new chain of command keep harping on us to sign up for training. They say " I want you to sign up for 3 classes each for the year". Ok, so I find a class I want...Put in for it and NO one will answer me. Im getting the run around. Its a $10k boot camp style class that we have credits for. PLENTY of credits for that were paid for a couple years ago and never used.
WTF??

Zumba day for me!
I didnt get my walk in yesterday. We used to be able to work straight 8 hour days and eat at our desks, but now we have to work the extra half hour..so I REALLY have to start getting my walk in every day. There is really no excuse other than lazyness.
I also came across a platform for the Wii balance board for stepping. When we first got it I looked for one and couldnt find it. Ran into one at Rite Aid for $20. Im going to try to pick that up this weekend.

Good morning Cira
I guess that makes two of us happy then. And I absolutely love the last line "Have a wonderful day on PURPOSE!" That will become a new part of my every day. Have a great day!

Very nice start to the exercise thread yesterday guys, I'm very proud of you. Now, let's keep it going! Today's a bit cold outside, but I don't want that to be a reason to skip today. Bundle up, take a nice brisk walk, something, anything. Just get that blood flowing. You'll thank yourself later.
For me, I'm a wimp. Not going outside to run this morning. Instead, I'm off from work so I'm going to hit the gym for an hour on the treadmill and some weightlifting.
What's everybody else doing today?

Well, that sucks Nicole. Did you beep your horn at the curb before it ran into you? Lol, jk. Actually, I almost took my dirt bath last night. I saw my life flash before my eyes. On my way home from work last night, I was in the back seat with two of my coworkers up front. Out jumps this huge deer (I think it may have been on steroids, this guy was a monster) onto the bypass. Luckily all three cars at that point showed some serious driving skills. The guy in front of us swerved to avoid the deer, did about four 360's before hitting the center guardrail. The guy behind us swerved to avoid ramming us and then had to swerve the other way to avoid hitting the car that just hit the rail, and the driver of the car I was riding in had to swerve to avoid hitting both of them. This all happened in milliseconds. Absolutely the most frightening moment of my life.
Anyway, my WTF is easy. I'm an appliance salesman for a company that is new to the area called hhgregg. Actually, our distribution center is in Maryland. Anyway, a couple comes in last night and drops like $8 grand on an electrolux kitchen package. The appliances all come with a limited manufacturers warranty that covers limited parts and labor. What it doesn't cover is all the expensive parts that would need repaired or replaced. So, instead of buying 5 year service plans on the entire package, which would have cost roughly $600 total and would have covered everything from head to toe, they say "nah, we never buy extended warranties, they're a waste of money". Um, excuse me? You do realize you just dropped EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS on kitchen appliances and your only current protection is one year for LIMITED parts and labor? After that, you are strictly on God's good graces. Oy vey. Sorry, but if I'm dropping 8 dimes on something, I'm sure as hell gonna make sure they're guaranteed to work for more than 12 lousy months. Okay, done ranting.
