ok,ok bit of update
First thing I would like to say is thank you to every one for giving all of the positive support while I am dealing with a few new health issues and appeals.
Now for a bit of an update,
I am waiting on approval from UHC for the MRI /MRA the dr ordered as a result of the two TIA's
I contacted UHC and they have my appeal officially August 12, 2009
When I called to see if the approval had been given for the tests the customer service rep told me there were already notes in the system dealing with my appeal. I inquired as to what types of proffessionals were on the appeals board and she told me it was a mixed panel but mostly doctors and nurses and it takes about 30 days to process.
I checked my blood pressure and it was down to 122/72 yesterday. which is much better than 150/120 like it was on Tuesday.
I am also working on a second appeal incase it is needed. I am organizing material that I have not included in the first one and placing it in a notebook with tabs for easier navigations.
my daughter wants me to come for a visit on a weekend but i don't want to commit to something until at least I have the testing done and see pcp again. I don't want to be too far from Zell. If anyone can understand that.
I have completed the paper work to finally get my retirement account set up so when I reach retirement age I will have more than Social Security.
