Started my 3 week liver reducing diet on Thursday. First day wasn't bad I actually had a hard time getting it all in especially the water. I'm floating here lol. I was given a new product to try instead of optifast and it is suppose to be pretty good i will include the website below. I get my shipment of it Monday. I am doing whey protein, protein bars, clear soups, and steamed veggies. I think if i get through the first couple days I should be able to do this standing on my head. The website for the product is www.smartforme.com. I am hoping if it all goes well and i stick by my guns i hope to lose at least 20 lbs prior to surgery.

You will do great! Keep us posted every step of the way.

I totally agree with Mo.  That bowel prep was the pits for me too!

((( Dusty )))

If I had had to do a liquid diet for 3 weeks prior I am not sure I would have made to WLS!   The bowel prep the day before was quite enough for me!

You are awesome!  Hang in there.

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Oh I doubt it!   I had to do a 'cleansing' thing similar to before a colonoscopy .. with what ever that stuff is . can't remember the name of what I drank.
