Exhausted, but it's been a GREAT week!

OMG, this job is killing me. I am getting used to the hours, and the additional physical demands. I absolutely love my job, for the first time in a long time. I had my first corporate visit on Tuesday, and it went GREAT! So, work is finally something I can look forward to again.

I had an awesome NSV on Tuesday as well. My doctors MA called to go over my bloodwork from last week. I had my annual physical. My vit D is still too low. I know, it's my fault for being careless about taking my calcium. I knew it would be low. But, I think this is my proudest moment since starting this journey. My cholesterol is down to 118!!! I was over 300 last year at my physical. In a few weeks, I'll celebrate my first surgiversary. I'm just blown away at what I was able to accomplish in this short amount of time.

Last year, I had to borrow a work shirt from my roommate once (we both work at the same company). She was already a manager, so her shirts were different (non management wears polos, management wears dress). Her size 2X (mens) was VERY tight across  my chest. The other day, I fit into one that was ordered for me. It is a size S (mens S, I wear a womens L). I think I was light headed for a moment at that one.

Thanks to all of my clique. You inspire me, sustain me, encourage me, reprimand me, best of all love me for who and what I am. Everyoone here, in their own way, has so much to offer. I hope nobody ever loses sight of that.
Hugs!
Kathy

BIG, WET, WARM PUPPY KISSES FROM HAPPY & ME, KATH!!!!!!

I can't begin to tell you how proud of you we are!!!!!!  Don't be surprised if we show up on Black Friday to see you - what time are you working?

The bloodwork numbers are great, but please get on that calcium horse!!!  You know, at our ADVANCED age, we need to be especially careful that we don't break a hip!!! LOL!!!

And get ready - cause after Christmas, it's time for Kathy's Makeover Day - and my hairdress, John, awaits you!!!

Thank you, too, for being a brique in my clique!!!  I couldn't survive this wacky world without you!!

Love you,

Tia

Congrats on your NSV...I'm sure you feel wonderful!

It's always refreshing to hear about people that love their jobs!  One day I hope to have something that I love to do and not something that I have to do to pay the bills!  You are very very lucky!

Kathy,

I am so happy to hear that you are doing great and loving your job!  Congrats on your NSV I am so proud of you!
By the way I was low on vitamin D when I was 3 months post op. DVR told me to buy a vitamin D supplement and I take 1 daily since then along with my calcium and it has been in the normal range since. Please do that soon and take it relisgiously because you do not want to have osteoarthritis inthe future.

You take care and congrats on a job well done.  What an inspiration you are!

Love ya girl!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Kathy, You said clique....I hate that word and what it means...it sounds like only few are welcome and more are excluded. Yuck.
But I am your friend and I'm glad to have you, too!  Congratulations on your wows!  You have done great!
