Who had an EGD?

Hey Girl. YES I WOULD LOVE TO BORROW THAT! THANK YOU! There were a few people in there having surgery together on the same days but NOT on my date. ;o( But they had like 5 no shows to that. And none of the people in there use this site. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??? Some of them go on something called Thinner Times Forum which I have never heard of until they said something. hey hon!  yes I had the egd.......read my blog on my profile about it......I hope you go further under on the twilight sedation than me........I don't wanna scare you or anything, it's just MY experience with it.  after it's over you end up farting a lot because they fill you with air LOL

OMG!!!  Wuzzy, we're gonna have to pick her up off the floor!!!!  I'd forgotten about YOUR experience!!!!

It probably wont' be like mine at all.....remember I used to be a street drug user and they have to take that into account when administering anaesthesia.

Giggle......snort!!!!  I read this so fast that what I saw was, "Remember, I used a street drug....!"

LOL yes....they gave me crack cocaine to smoke before they stuck the tube in!

hehehehhee........I had 12 vials of blood taken too.......this last time for my 6 month follow up I think they only took 8 vials.  but hon, I remember the last half of my EGD because I WOKE UP AND WAS FULLY ALERT THROUGH IT!!!!  LOL  Make sure they give you enough sedation!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so just so ya know I am skeeeeeered ****less now! LOL I will ask to be whacked over the head when I get in there. LOL They best give me enough. Have you ever heard of that happening to anyone else? MY GRACIOUS! LOL

When I talked to the person who gives you the information about anesthesia.....they specifically ask you if you have done street drugs.  Even if you DON'T do them now but did in the past, it can still affect the way that your body deals with anesthesia.  in my case it is very rare for that to happen.
