Hey Deb!!!

It always makes me smile, the way you take such pleasure in rediscovering simple things.  I, too, had gotten out of the habit of wearing dresses.  To me, and I know you probably had the same yet different problem, all dresses that fit my width were equally long - hence, I looked like Laura Ingalls!!!!!  LOL!!!!!  You inspire me!!!!

I agree, I keep thinking of the pregnant turkey and water just wants to shoot right out of my nose.  In keeping with that nasal projectile, I have a story that I think I'll share a bit later!!!

Have a great day!

Tia

Thank Tia,

I know we all have these special moments. But in general, I tend to have a positive outlook no matter what, or at least I hear that from a lot of different people. At a prior job, they nicknamed me "Pollyanna". - haha. I am not sure I would go that far, but if I do it without thinking about it, I would have to say this comes from my Dad.

And with dresses, I LOVE them long.

can't wait to hear your story later.

Hey Becki!!!!

I, too, am so glad to have met you.  Call it a clique, call it a circle, call if whatever you like, but the friendships I've made and maintained on this board rock me to my core!!!

So, besides everything he sees, what's on Hunter's wish list this year?

Woo-hoo!!!  A raise?  That's doubly aswesome in today's economy!!!  You go!!!

BTW, thanks for the sweet note about my Happy!!  She makes my heart smile!!!  (and so do you!)

Tia,

You are so welcome, and you make my heart smile also!

Hunter wants everything lol, but the main thing on his wish list is trucks.  The bigger the better lol.  He wants some wrestlers and the Tech Deck skateboards and ramps.  He also wants me to get him a WII, but it's not in the budget this year.  It was so funny yesterday, I was looking online at Target.com, and I saw the truck that he really wants.  It is the Tonka Titans Car Hauler, and it is huge!  Well, I told him that santa was going to bring it to him for Christmas but only if he is good.  When we left the house yesterday, he asked where we were going and I told him we were going to see his doctor.  Well, he told me and I quote lol "No mommy we go to target and get christmas truck".  He cracks me up!

Hunter just cracks me up!!!!!  I'd vote for the truck over the doctor's, too!!!!

BTW, did his ped recommend an asthma specialist?  If not, check out Drs. Golden and Matz in White Marsh - they're allergists, but I THINK are also asthma specialists.  If you need a pulmonologist, sorry, can't help you there!!

Here's hoping Santa brings Mommy LOTS of batteries for her camera - it's gonna be a fun morning!!!

Hugs,

T

Thank you so much for the referrals, because she didn't recommend anyone.  She just said for me to look into the specialists at University of MD.

I have 2 sets of rechargable batteries for my camera lol!!  It is def going to be the best Christmas yet with him!!

Hope you are having a good day!

1. I'm grateful for the SUN being out on such a cold day.  Overcast, gloomy days depress me.

2.  Friends and family of course.  AND their sense of humor.  You see, I could totally picture my family doing the pregnant turkey thing. Yes, we are twisted, we love to have fun.  My husband sometimes calls me "simple."      btw, I hear central Florida is having a cold spell right now too.  My sister said she's wearing sandals, BUT has long sleeves and a hoodie on. LOL

3.  IPODS and earplugs!  This way I can drown out the whiney cow-workers! BLAH!  Griping is one thing, acting like the entire world is conspiring against you is another.

Ohhhhhhh can I add a 4th??

4.  Warm doggies to snuggle up against when it's cold out.  I have 2 golden retrievers who are momma's lap boys.  when I'm on the couch, one loves to be on my lap.  The other one loves to snuggle with me in bed.
