Daily Workout!!!
Hi all,
Today is another day. One thing I am learning is that I should listen to my body when I exercise and not try to pu**** past it's limits. Two days ago I could run at 5.5 mph but today when I did it I was dying way before the minute was up so I bumped it down to 5.3 and that felt perfect. so listen to your body if it is telling you to step back a little. It is better to do that then to stop completely cuz you pushed too hard. My next door neighbor didn't come again and is trying to screw up my exercise schedule. I am starting to get irritated with her. I may actually have to hurt her feelings and tell her I don't want to exercise with her during the week. I'm fine doing something on the weekend but I am not waiting around for her to show up.

Nothing going on here for me yet today, but I'll take the stairs instead of the elevator in the office.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Last night did both the water classes and a cardio/weight circuit set - God I was tired but
I'm trying to build myself up to where I was a couple months ago - Tonight is bowling night
so the right arm gets plenty of weight lifting LOL
I know what you mean about your neighbor: when I started my sister joined with me and I kept
making arrangements to meet her - only to have her not show up- so I just did it on my own.
Your neighbor just isn't ready to make the commitment right now.
So anyhow I hope everyone has a great day.

I haven't posted at all this week because I haven't worked out. I've had a terrible cold and strep throat. I haven't been to the Y since last Friday. This Friday I'm supposed to drive to Atlanta to spend Thanksgiving with my children and grandchildren. Wish me luck. My daughter belongs to the Y there so I can go with her if I'm feeling ok.
