Thanks, Deb!!! Yeah, she's a ball of fire - part Chihuahua, part Jack Russell Terrier - NON-STOP ACTION!!! But the sweetest, most loveable little thing!! My brother calls her my heat seeking missile on a leash!!! LOL!!!

She helped my heart heal after losing Molly last year. She's tough, too!! We got her from a rescue after she'd been hit by a car. The man *****scued her paid for her surgery and her care and then put her up for adoption down in Salisbury. From there, she went to Lizzy's Lodge (rescue) in Silver Spring, then to her foster mom in Frederick, and finally, to us. She's travelled more than me!!!

I would love to have a pet, espcially a dog, but it would not be fair. I am not home enough. I can't have a cat because people in my family have allergies.

You're right, Deb, if you're not home much, it's NOT fair to the animal. Had both my parents not been retired, we probably wouldn't have gotten another dog. We've always been dog people, particularly since I'm allergic to cats, but I did come to love my brother's cat, Mickey.

There's a great saying: "Choose your pet carefully; it's the only chance you have to pick a family member!!"

Oh, no way!!! Happy doesn't get that she's a little dog. She's a big dog on the inside and doesn't like little dogs....or kids. She just NOW likes B, doesn't like Kylie, either - barks and barks and barks!!!
