BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!  LOL!!!  I left my office window slightly open last night.  OMG!!!  I SO don't miss the extra weight, but dang it, it was COLD in the office this morning!!!  LOL!!  Oh, well, easier to put more on than take more off - well, I guess that depends on your personality!!  LOL!!!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  Energy - I got a lot done at the house last night, things that would've taken much longer prior to wls.  I just FEEL so much better!!!

2.  That next week is a non-existent work week for me!!  My boss sent my leave request back with a big red DENIED on it - but I knew he was kidding!!!  WOO-HOO!!

3.  KB - Who continue to make me proud.  They both got OUTSTANDING report cards yesterday!!!  All A's & 1 B for K and all A's & B's for B - my brother is SO lucky that they achieve these grades with very little effort - not that they don't work hard, but they don't have to struggle.

4.  That next Monday, elementary schools are closed so I will have B to myself all day.  We're going to lunch and to the toy store and then to pick up his bff for a play date!!  I LOVE my little guy!!!

Have a great day!

Good Morning :

Yes it is cold today -  I have my Heaviest winter coat out and a sweatshirt on underneath and I was still cold -  so glad the defrosters worked quick-  I would have frozen if I had to scrape.

Today I am grateful for:

1.  A great dinner with my cousin and some family last night - Mom could not go due to a UTI infection but the rest of us had a nice dinner ( OK I had shrimp while they ate some of the biggest steamed crabs I have seen in my life)  -  memories were talked and laughed about
and I got an invitation to visit them in California ( near LA) anytime I like.

2.  For the many phonecalls, test, emails and postings to me  about my birthday yesterday-
I very much appreciate them all.

3.  That my killer headache from yesterday and Aunt FLO are history this morning.
For the first time in a week I feel my normal sweet self LOL not like the wicked witch of
the west LOL

Gifts :   My GPS ( not a surprise but I love it )
And Bare Minerals Diamond collection - not sure where my sister found it
but the colors are really neat and I love the natural Lip Gloss it came with.

We went to Ocean Pride on York Road -  Dad ordered 3 dozen of the biggest they
had - well they had The "Whales" - they were huge.  My brother and sister each
took 7 home and I had left early and taken 4 home to Mom - she didn't eat them but I am sure
she will today.

Yes mom's got a lot of cranberry juice on hand  - funny how an antibiodic for another problem
caused this one.

I think shellfish can bring that on, too, so tell Mom to pick and freeze the meat!!  Antibiotics can do a lot of weird things - helpful and harmful!!!

I'm betting your sister either ordered it or got it at Sephora.  It's a beautiful collection!!!

Glad you had a good day!

Tia

hi tia, it is dang cold huh? i am wearing the coat i used last year cuz i haven't gotten a thick coat yet. it looks weird but very warm.

1. i've been eating like a pig lately cuz of anxiety but cuz of exercise i only gained back two pounds and i gave myself just one more day of crappy eating then back on the horse tomorrow so I can get to 100 lost by the end of the month.

2. the anxiety is finally starting to get better. i am hopeful by friday (my day off) i will feel good and be able to clean my house. that has suffered greatly cuz of how i've been feeling.

3. my hubby. he has been very supportive during this bad time. during the weekend, he held me while i balled my eyes out and I really felt loved and a bit better afterwards. he's a really good guy. i am very lucky.

(((NIC!!!)))

Sorry you've been feeling stressed, I know how that can make you want to eat everything in sight.  And then you get mad at yourself and eat and.......it's an ugly cycle!!!

You WILL get to 100 pounds lost, and then I want to see an "I SO LOVE ME" post from you!!!

Call me if you need me!!!

Hugs,

Tia

The surprise of seeing an old dear friend yesterday afternoon and getting to spend some time catching up with them

A great boss!

A good life!

Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Good Morning All,

Tia - Although a tad bit jealous about your schedule next week, I think it is great you will have th the special time with B. Congrats to KB for the super report cards!

Tia / Darla - I thought I was the WWOTW! And remember I have photographic proof?! LOL!

Darla - I am so glad you are feeling better.

Nic - I am so sorry you have been having such a difficult time. I am so proud of you and all you have accomlished. I have confidence that you will rebound from this and and achieve your goals!

Mo - How wonderful to have that unexpected special time with your friend! I am happy for you.

Today I am grateful that...

1 - My Uncle, who is seriously ill, is showing some encouraging signs of improvement. He is not out of the woods yet as he will need heart surgery soon. But he is stable and starting to win against the infection and pneumonia.

2 - It is a beautiful (although cold) November day.  I am so glad we did not get snow here. I understand those to the West did. I am just not ready for snow yet.

3 - Bittersweet moments - A long term co-sorker will be leaving the company this month. We are throwing him a surprise party today in the office. While it is sad to lose him, I am happy for the new opportunities he has before him. It will be a great time in the office, the comraderie, the fun, and of course, the food. We spend so much time with those that we work with, that in many ways they become our second family!
