New to the message boards

Good morning everyone.  I have been reading here and there but I never said anything.  I am in the process of trying to have the Lap-Band done.  I am nervous and anxious.  I also feel worn out.  I did not realize much running it took to get ready for this procedure.  I am ready.  I feel a real since of excitement. 

Can anyone give me some insight on what to look forward too?  I have been approved by insurance and now I am waiting on the final approval from my surgeon.

Congratulations on making this courageous decision for your best life. No matter which tool you choose, your life is going to change in the most wonderful way. It is truly exciting!

Like the others, I'm not a bandster, but there are several on here, so I know you'll get some great responses!!

Any wls requires a good deal of prep, running, paperwork, etc.  But it's all worth it in the end!!

Hello again.  Thank you all for responding so fast.  I had to go to the nutritionist today.  I was talking about this site.  She started smiling and told me she knew all about it.  That made me feel even better.  I am going to continue to look to this site for information.
