MD BOARD HOLIDAY BRUNCH - 12/7 - 10 A.M.
Most surgeons issue "cards" that we can carry and show to a restaurant to request "permission" to order off the children's menu or get a reduced price. However, these restaurants are certainly not obligated to honor the cards (although it might get them repeat business), and in light of the economy, I'm not really surprised that they don't.
I know that Golden Corral will offer a reduced price and there are several buffets in Ocean City that do the same.
I personally just consider it a nice perk if they will, but not a problem if they don't!!!

Hey Tia!! I am so SUPER BUMMED to say I can't attend. I LOVE CHRISTMAS and GET TOGETHERS both but I will just be 3 days post op at the time. I go in for my RNY on Dec 4th. But like you I have been listening to the Christmas music for 2 weeks now on 103.3 which is a P.A station because 97.1 and 101.9 decided to start late this year. I have it on here in daycare everyday too on Comcast Music Choice on the TV. LOL And did I mention AOL RADIO has like 15 different Christmas stations. LOL I was listening back in July and it was driving Mike BONKERS! haha
I am in two Mommy loops and we have already picked our holiday swap buddy to exchange a gift with via mail. We are spread out all over the U.S so its neat. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! ;o) Im sorry I cant attend but maybe a New Years Bash? hehehe ~Jilly~

I'm bummed, too!!! But we'll get together soon!!!! Oooooh, a fellow Christmas music addict!!!! I have a friend who sadly isn't really in my life anymore, and he was really the only one who understood my Christmas obsession!!!!
Unfortunately, most of my friends and I have decided to forego gifts this year and instead do a Christmas lunch, dinner or tea. It was just getting WAY too expensive!!!! Plus, after all the hustle and bustle of the season, it'll be more relaxing to just hang out!!
