Hello just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kristin and I am in the 6 month approval process with Cigna. Would like to meet others for support. I have a crazy schedule but maybe we could work something out. Thanks!

Kristin,

I too live in Frederick. I am 20 months post-op. This surgery has been very successful for me. At the same time, a huge change in food decisions and exercise.

I also have a crazy schedule most of the time.

Thanks Faith...I appreciate your support. I was going to have the band but my doctor thought the rny would be better for me. Maybe we could get a Frederick support group going..what do you think?

Thanks Kim...I could use all the support I can get. I am so worried that I will not be approved even though I qualify. I know I will have plenty of questions once I have the procedure done and have to learn what I can and cannot have.

I hope your 6 month goes smoothly. I hope you can join the MD people in one of the
gatherings. It is usually a lot of fun. Unfortunately I don't get to hang out much with them since I am in WV.

I love the idea of a Frederick support group. I had my surgery in Baltimore and it's a long haul to get to meetings with a crazy work schedule (yes, I have one too...)
