3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY!!

Well, I may have to be creative today. I just came back from the car assessment and I need a series of things done. Can you hear the $$$$$$ flying out the window? Why do these things always happen at the most inopportune times? Sigh. At least there were a few things that were not critical for right now. So I was able to defer those and only concentrate on the more serious things.

1 - That they gave me a rental while my car is being worked on, since it will take a while. So until I have to settle up, I am driving a brand new Ford Escape Hybrid and I can pretend it is mine for the weekend. (And I did not have to pay for the rental!)

2 - That I have a lot of fun things planned this weekend. So I am looking forward to it. Plus I took off today. Therefore I don't have to deal with work stress today - Yeah!

3 - My Ex-Sister-in-Law - I had a really good conversation with her yesterday. Even though she will not be coming over for Thanksgiving as I had hoped, her explanation was certainly understandable and I do not feel like it is anything personal against me. We also discussed the possibility of me planning some activities with the twins by myself. And she is definitely OK with that too. I regret that while I was carrying more weight around, I did not feel up to scheduling outings with them. Then the divorce happened. That can sometimes make things awkward and my Sister-in-law and I have had some of those awkward moments. However, I think we cleared up a lot of things yesterday and I feel really good about our relationship right now. I am looking forward to planning some things before the twins get to the age where they will not want to hang out with their fuddy-duddy aunt!

Have a Great Weekend!

Ugh!!!  I feel your pain, Deb!!!!  Is there EVER a good time to spend loads of money that you don't have??  I don't think so!!!

I'm glad you got the air cleared a little with your ex-SIL - sometimes, those things weigh heavier on our minds than we think.  I'm glad you'll get to spend some time with the twins!!!!  I'm sure they'll love all the attention you're sure to shower on them!!

Have a fun weekend!

POOF  your wish is granted...the last two weeks never happened....LOL!!

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  Feeling better every day.  The pain/discomfort in my left side has pretty much subsided.  I thought I would never get to that point.

2.  I'm down a size in pants...packing up those old size 22 pants and shorts.  Not sure about shirts since I've pretty much been wearing comfy clothes for the past 5 weeks, although I don't have to stretch those out before putting them on anymore.

3.  Friends and Family.

LOL!!!!  Hey, *I'm* the Fairy Godmother!!!  LOL!!!!  Lacie's, anyway!!!

Thanks, honey.  Now, could you do something about the heartache???  SIGH.

I'm so glad you're feeling better physically.  The first 6 weeks or so are definitely the hardest, but it'll all be a distant memory soon, I promise.

VERY AWESOMELY COOL ON THE CLOTHES!!!  THAT'S A HUGE NSV!!!  Non-scale victory, in case you were wondering!!!  LOL!!!!

Love the new avitar, btw!!!!

Good afternoon Tia!!

Today I am grateful:

1.  That it is Friday!  I sure need this weekend to relax!

2.  That I no longer have to deal with Sprint, and finally have Verizon for my cell provider!

3.  That I got paid today, and I actually have a little extra cash left after I pay bills!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Tia,

Hunter is doing a lot better then he was, but he still has this lingering cough.  Hopefully it will go away soon.

It's been a long week, and I sure do need a relaxing weekend lol.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
