Because of the nasty weather, I am cancelling tonight's meeting....

Only two people have RSVP that they would be attending.... it is just too nasty to take the chance of someone having an accident tonight.

I wil send the handouts from tonight's meeting in an email to everyone....

Hello.....I know many of you here do not know me........ My name is Heather......    I have been a member for a long time, but I have mostly been a lurker for the last year. I have researching surgery for a long time & have been denied several times. I am now in the position to have surgery & am going through the 6 month supervised diet. I would love to join a support group that is local......I am also on the Eastern Shore. I would greatly appreciate any info on your group & its meetings......cuz I would most definitely love to join you all! I need all the support, encouragement, & added strength I can get!

You and I are in the same boat. I have had  all of my post op stuff and I only have 2 more visits left to my primary before insurance approval. I am in the Baltimore Area  and my doctor has support groups but the time's are not good for me. I also need some support and would love to have a friend at the same point as I .  There are many groups around but  don't quit know were to find them.

I don't know if Deb responded to you, but my name is Lisa.  Our support group is usually held the 2nd Thursday of the month. It's a small, but great group of people in different stages of their WLS stories.
