Good morning!!!!  Hope all is well.  Looks to be a yucky day weather-wise, but I've got TONS of things to do through Sunday, so I can't let the rain stop me.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  My day off yesterday - Although the anal glaucoma still exists, my eyes have cleared enough to allow me to come to work today!!!!  LOL!!!!!

2.  Dinner with friends - Thanks to my OTHER Mom & Dad for treating me to dinner!!!

3.  Pay week - I can treat myself to lunch out today.  Normally, I pack my lunch because I refuse to waste $$ eating out all the time, so it's a treat when I do.

Have a great day!!

Good Morning

Yucky weather day is right;  I fought the battle of anal glaucoma myself today - but Its
way too busy for a day off so I dragged myself out of bed and into work.

1.  That my bowling teammates and I won all four games last night.  We
had a couple weeks of ties and close losses so last night was a great feeling.
The team we bowled against were fun to bowl with too.  Some teams are all business-
it was nice to bowl a team who is in it just for fun like we are.

2.  That my shopping trip at babiesrus was successful last night- even if i had the
computer screen from hell when trying too look up the registrey LOL.

3.  That even though the weather is a bit nasty today the drive in was not bad length wise.

OK Everyone have a great day

Very cool on the bowling, Darla!!!!  Oh, yeah, some people are just way too rabid when it comes to competing for "fun."

Have a good one!!!

Moie, I just LOVED that pic of you and your Mom!!!!  I hope you have more opportunities for more time and photos with her, but I'm glad this last visit was such a good one!!!!

Ever since the time change, my days have been weird.  Hmmm....maybe it's just me!!!  LOL!!!

Yep, tomorrow is casual Friday here.  I love that on Sunday, I only have to THINK about 4 outfits!!!!

Hugs,

I am grateful for the following:

1.  I finished my paper at 6:00 am and can now go to sleep before class this evening.

2.  That my husband is just so stinking loving and I am so lucky to have him.  Although he always tells me he has the better end of the deal.

3.  That my husband decided that he and Ryan would take a break from soccer until the second session of indoor.  This means no soccer until JANUARY!!  We really needed the break in this house.

Hi Kim!!!!

For what class was the paper?  I don't know how you do it, girl!!!  You rock!!!!

Tell your hubby that *I* said you're both incredibly lucky!!!!  Trust me, after being lied to, cheated on, emotionally abused in the past, and now dipping my toes into the dating pool again - which needs a LOT of chlorine, by the way, I know of what I speak!!!!!  LOL!!!!

Glad you're getting a much needed break from being a soccer family!!!!  I'll feel your pain starting in April with softball!!!  sigh.

Good Morning All,

I agree, this weather is a drag. But at the same time, I am sure it is needed. Looks like we are in for a couple of days of this.

1 - The weekend is almost here - I have decided to take tomorrow off. While I have to take my car in for service in the AM tomorrow, I am hoping to get a lot of things done around the house. Just keep your fingers crossed for me that they do not find anything major! Then I have plans Friday night, Saturday night, and all day Sunday. I will be with different friends each of those times. So it will be fun. My only regret is that it will all go by too fast.

2 - Enjoying a night of TV. It is rare that I am home with enough time to watch TV, especially current programming. Since I wimped out on the gym last night, after taking a brief nap when I got home I was able to watch the CMA Awards last night. As award shows go, I really think this was one of the better ones. I found it entertaining AND it ended on time. The whole thing felt like a treat!

3 - Life in general - Life is good!

have a super day!

Hi Deb!!!

Wow!!!  You have a busy few days, too!!!!  Ugh!!  Nothing stresses me out like car repairs and dental work!!!  And I need both!!  SIGH.  Crossing my fingers for you!!

Have a great day!

The paper is for an english lit class I am taking.  It is reading and writing intensive.  It's killing me.  I started writing a paper based on a Hemingway story, hated it so much I ended up writing on a Chopin story.

As far as dating goes, when I met my husband I flat out told him he was not my type.  Who knew.  He is the best type/not my type I have ever met.  I was not looking to date him as I was off/on seeing someone who I thought was everything I was looking for.  Go figure.

Soccer has been KILLING me.  My husband coaches and Ryan plays.  Ryan has been playing year round.  It is either indoor or outdoor and it is too much.  He was kind of disappointed but I tried explaining that with the holidays it would be really nice to have an eight week break.  He seemed to understand and has now taken to just practicing skills in the yard and hanging out with friends which was hard to do when soccer was consuming 3-4 days a week for him.

I feel like I can breath.

Good Morning Tia,

Glad to hear that you have some relief for your anal glaucoma...LOL!

Today I'm grateful for...

1.  My energy levels are definitely on the upswing...FINALLY!  I'm getting alot more accomplished in my days off.

2.  Finally finding my box of pictures, after much searching in the attic and other storage areas.  I have a HUGE stack of Colby pictures and I can start her scrapbook.  The one I REALLY wanted to find was her first puppy pic which was of her sitting on the beach looking up at me.  My footprint is right beside her and she is teeny tiny.  Now I have her first and last (best) pic framed above her urn.  Miss her so much!

2 1/2.  Being able to look through said stack of pictures without crying!!

3.  Christmas is going to be at my sister's this year and all 6 of us girls and our families will be there.  Family photo time and this will be the first year in a long time that I won't mind my pic being taken!!
