FINALLY approved...but still looking for examples!

I am so excited to say these words......"I AM APPROVED"

Everyone was right...its a great feeling and I am so happy.  Now I have to wait on Johns Hopkins to confirm a date but they tell me January is probably the time frame and Lillian will call me Friday after talk to Dr. Steele!

I do have a nagging question, has any one who had Dr. Steele out of Johns Hopkins reached their goal weight?????  I cannot seem to find people who had the surgery with her and their long term results.  OR people who had complications after a surgery with Dr. Steelle and how the experience was!

Sorry, I can't help you regarding Dr. Steele. However, I do want to congratulate you on your approval. January will be here before you know it!

First off CONGRADS on the approval that is WONDERFUL! I dont know that Doctor but I am sure if you ask her to pass your info onto post op patients who attend groups she will be able to do that. It is always nice to have people who used the same surgeon, I agree. Good Luck honey!! ~Jilly~

I did not have Dr steele so can not help you there but I did have my surgery at John's Hopkins Bayview and the evening nurses were the ones I had an issue with. My nurse's aid did more for me then my nurse did. If someone can stay with you then that will be better. I had to share my room with someone so my mom couldnt stay.

Congratulations on getting approval. I'm waiting for approval now. How long did it take you to get approval? I have been waiting for the financial coordinator at hopkins to submit my info to the insurance co. Hopefully, I will get approval soon.

FIRST thank you all for the well wishes.  I am cannot believe that now I can be more the a lurker. 

Scorpiokutie - Please keep emailing and calling Teresa Ly.  She is wonderful but there are so many of us trying to get aprroved and only one of her.  I use to think that I should give her days before I followed up but not so, just keep emailing her and ger personal with her.  She has had the surgery and understand what we are going through.
