GLEN BURNIE SUPPORT MEETING

Again, remember anybody interested that the GLEN BURNIE meeting will be held Thursday..November 6th at 6:00 at North County High School in room A-107. We mingle from about 6 to 6:30 and then chat..catch up...graze on healthy snacks...etc...

So who all is coming??? I will be there. Can't wait to see everyone, It has been awhile.

Unlikely that I will make it. I'll be in Catonsville until 5 p.m. then have to get back to the office in Annapolis to pick up my truck. I think after 4 plus hours of video conference I'll be ready to crash on Thursday night.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

There may be lap-banders there, I am not sure. But EVERYONE is welcome to come to the Glen Burnie meeting. Its always nice to meet fellow "losers" no matter what surgery you have had or are going to have. Hope you come...

Thanks Terri. I really am going to try to make it. I'd like to meet up with some of the *losers* in the area. The key to my showing up will be if I get enough sleep during the day -- (I'm a night shifter).

I am planning on going. I have a question though, my bf would also like to come but we have his daughter Thursday night's for dinner & drop her off at her mom's at 7 in Glen Burnie. Could she come along too or is it better to just stick to adults only? She is almost 12 btw.
