I'm down 41 lbs since surgery 3 weeks ago. The other 8 lbs were before surgery from my
highest weight/during the supervised diet. I don't think it's good to compare, because like Mo's signature line says, it's the thief of joy. Since I had a BMI over 50 and needed to lose 200lbs, I went with DS for the effects I had read about in the research. I have a friend who had RNY in DEC and he lost 50 lbs the first month. I think it just varies with everyone.
