Dr. John Gibbons. I have his number at work and can post it tomorrow. My sister was so worried about my having this surgery because she claims that everyone she knows that has gotten the surgery has divorced their husband. So, I decided to be pro-active and go to counseling to help us prepare for the surgery and to deal with it afterwards. My insurance company, Aetna, covers the expense and my weekly co-pay is only $7. WELL worth it. Dr. Gibbons also specializes in eating disorders and addiction counseling, so I felt that he was a good choice to help us deal with the mental aspects of the surgery. His office is in Arnold.
Thanks so much Pamela. I'll look for your post with the info. Unfortunately or fortunately (??) I don't think this has that much to do with the WLS....but it certainly could. Maybe making this huge decision has made me more ..... I dunno .... willing to take care of ME??? Does that make sense?? A lot of the BS going on now has been there on and off for a long time....but I am finally tired of it. I don't want out .... hence the search for the counselor.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
