I just wonder what compells someone to post on a Massachusetts message board near-daily if they don't live here. Strange behavior - considering noone replies to it.

Beth, you're not kidding..it's going to be fun, and the hotel just told me that they will extend our pricing until October 3rd, but there are only 20 rooms left beyond our block for Saturday night and they're going to sell out that weekend! It's so fun to be able to stay at the event hotel and join friends for impromptu meet ups and excursions, even a walk!
Anyone who is waiting until the last minute to book their rooms might be out of luck!
Hurry...we want to see you there!

I'm Gina....relocated to Western Mass about 6 months ago from New Jersey. Looking to meet up with and/or talk with some other gastric bypass patients in my area. I am 1 year post-op and having trouble continuing my weight loss.

Are you coming?
I'll be there -- I'm bringing my exMr/Mr for his VERY FIRST WLS event, ever, in 7.5 years of post op life. He will either be horrified or will love it. I am thinking a little of both, as he is realizing that he needs his "people." It's funny how life will do that to you.
So - come with?
We're going Thu - Monday, and planning to take maybe Thursday and Monday for some New York City exploring -- as he's not done it -- and I've done it twice in the last two years.
Come on! Learn things, meet peers and enjoy yourself!
