That is my feeling as well -- Dunks is a donut shop.

I don't brew their beans at home -- but peeps are spending wads on the K-CUPS!

Our Dunkies are dumpy so I avoid them - so it is hard to compare around here.

Also - in my mind Dunkies is a dougnut shop that also happens to sell coffee whereas Starbucks is the reverse.

If it makes the Dunkieses feel any better, their grocery store beans got a pretty favorable review from consumer reports recently so I'm going to give them a shot at home.

Sorry to disappoint, but I do not have a favorite. It depends on the day and the mood. I simply think Dunkies is milder, never bitter and a much better value.
