preliminaries done

Well I had my 1st set of appointments done todayand I have to say the people at Georgetown are super nice I'm a little upset with the phsych Dr 's recommendation, he wants me to do weigh****chers and counseling before I have the surgery. chances are if I have to do this I won't have the surgery because I work 4pm to 2:30 am I live in a small town and we don't have any daytime weigh****chers close to us, not to mention I was suppose to change jobs an go out on the road again truck driving. I understand after losing my sister 3 weeks ago I'm sure I need a little couseling but to put a restriction on the surgery because of it I don't this is fair. I know it was because I binged that week of her services but she was my younger sister, I know I won't be able to do that after surgery, this is my second try at this its been set deep in my head it can't happen. anyway one a good note I met Brenda Goldschmidt and she is one of the sweetest people you could ever want to meet. and I'm sorry I just had to vent alittle I've not given up yet. God willing something will work out. melinda

melinda, I am only about four miles from salvisa. i went to a WW meeting a few years ago during the day at that big catholic church at the other end of the bypass. Don't know if they still have those but that's where I went. it was about three years ago right before my surgery. Can you find another physc and have another test?

thats possible I wonder if any physch dr. can do? I see Dr Patterson in danville on a regular basis and he's all for me having this if I feel it will help me. that's an ideal I'll check with georgetown. thanks!

hi Dawn thanks ..yes id like help step by step on how to get going .Iam scared to death of all this paper work.. I dont know what im doing .or what order to do it ..also because i live in hamilton i thaught DR OMALLEY would be closer plus he does the DS. MY family DR likes me to do the work ,bring it in ,then she signs it..with all the credit..LOL....dont care as long as i can get it done soon..like now..LOL... please help me.. thanks carolynne
