April 6th - Lex. Area Lap Band Support Group

I am a Georgetown Bariatrics Lap Band Patient. I hold support group meetings in my home in Lexington SPECIFICALLY for Lap Band patients AND those who are considering this procedure. It is not necessary that you had or are considering having your procedure done there, either. All area Lap Band patients/pre-ops are welcome. I feel we, as lap band patients, have different issues than the RNYers and that is why I decided to offer these meetings for those who are not able to attend any support group meetings elsewhere. I am not affiliated with Georgetown Bariatrics but I do attend the support group meetings there and try to follow their guidelines and recommendations in my meetings. We meet at my home twice each month on the first Thursday at 7:00pm and the third Saturday at 1:30pm. The next meeting will be this coming Thursday, April 6th, at 7:00pm.
