Hi, All the sleep apnea test does is determine if you have sleep apnea or not, so Your surgeon and the anesthetic team will be able to make the necessary adjustments for when they put you to sleep. It's hard getting used to the bipap or cpap machine at first but you can look around because they have different types of masks that you may like better. I slept much better once I was used to it. Take care

I too have sleep apnea. If you are having a hard time wearing the mask, ask for a full face mask. It is no different than regualr breathing. You can sleep with your mouth open or closed! It is a life-saver and is comfortable too!!! Good luck with your WLS journey!
