Lexington, Ky Area Lap Band Support Group

Brenda Goldschmidt suggested that I post this info on the ObesityHelp Kentucky message board. I am a Georgetown Bariatrics Lap Band Patient. I hold support group meetings in my home in Lexington SPECIFICALLY for Lap Band patients AND those who are considering this procedure. I feel we, as lap band patients, have different issues than the RNYers and that is why I decided to offer these meetings for those who are not able to attend the weekly or monthly meetings in Georgetown. I am not affiliated with Georgetown Bariatrics but I attend the support group meetings there and try to follow their guidelines in my meetings. We meet at my home twice each month on the first Thursday at 6:30pm and the third Saturday at 1:30pm. The next meeting will be this coming Saturday, March 18th, at 1:30pm.
