I'm Home!

Hi ya'll! I made it home on Thursday! It was so great to be home and finally be able to sleep! All day Thursday I think all I did was, sip, walk, sleep, repeat..lol. I had a problem getting my protein in yesterday and Thursday. It smelled so bad. I learned, however, if I keep it in a sippy cup or a cup with a lid I do MUCH better. I had only gotten in 15 grams before today since I had been home. I was starting to feel pretty bad. Thankfully I found a shake I could tolerate pretty well with 20g or protein and it was SO amazing how much better I felt within MINUTES of getting it down. I am up to 40g so far today! I am also allowed pureeds. I done some scrambled eggs earlier, and am stocked up on cottage cheese and refried beans, for my soft foods, but d you guys have any good purees ya'll used? I appreciate the answers! Hope ya'll have a nice weekend!

Just take your time and keep it simple. Slow is the name of the game right now. Do your very best on the protein. I had really good luck with the unflavored unjury and sf carnation instant breakfast. And as for the water just sip all day. It gets better. The cottage cheese tasted like a million dollars. And the eggs I kept them pretty wet. I am 4 mths out down 82 lbs feel great. The first few weeks are the hardest but I would do it again in a heart beat. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Jane 296/116/150goal
