: what to do

hello ky family, i know that some of you have heard of the medicare ruling for coe(center of excellence) well now , St, marys called and told me that they were not.so i need a wls center to continue my journey,somebody please reach out, come to far to give up now. martha-ladyshy

Hi Martha! Don't give up! Isn't Madisonville FAIRLY close to TN? Have you checked any hospitals there? I know that St Joseph East in Lexington is a COE. That is probably a 3 hour drive for ya, but...you have come too far to give up!

yes its close,i don't mind the drive,just don't want to be made to give up now,i called stjoseph east haven't got a reply as of yet,

o. brenda i forget, tenn, rule out ind, don't know how close georgetown is,then theres cinci,lexington, only ones i can think of.

I think g-town is about 3.5 hours from you. Lexington is about the same. Cinci would be about 5 hours and about the same for Ashland.

martha, you mentioned St. Joe east. I'm sure they will get back to you. Did you call or email? The number is 859-967-5520 and they are a "Center of Excellamce' that takes medicare "assignment". Also, why I really responded to your post was to tell you that if you are a patient there, your family can get motel rooms at a discount rate thru the hospital. Good luck on your journey.
