I FINALLY have a date!!

I FINALLY have a date!! A surgery date that is. (Wi**** was a date-date. haha) Anyway..... My surgery is MONDAY!! I am so excited! Can't wait to be on the losing side! Never did get approval from Humana, so I'm self pay. WannaBe Smaller

Hey Wannabe I was the same way with UHC after 2 yrs I was tired of waiting and I choose to self pay also...right now I am 2 months out and down 91 lbs...so I wish you the best and trust me it is worth the money Good luck...

I wish I could afford to self pay. How does that work anyways. most people I know just go out and get a loan. I'm not able to do that as I tried and just couldn't afford the payments. Good luck though. I'm glad you are able to do it.

Mary, many of the surgeons offices can help you with the financing..you should attend a seminar and see what you can find out..they are free and welcome all people searching information..

I actually attended a meeting at St. Joe East last march. I should hunt up the info packet I had and call them. I just knew that my insurance company wouldn't pay and I got discouraged by that. I have actually looked to find a new insurance but I am not sure I can afford switching from my employee benifits to self pay right now. I'll check it out again.
