Hello all.

Just logged on to say hello. I have a busy day tomorrow and not sure if I'll be able to get on or not. I have an appointment with a hand speciallist in lexington tomorrow. I've somehow damaged my wrist a few months ago and my local doc can't seem to figure out just what is wrong so she is sending me to doctor Kutz in lexington. I'm kind of nervous but I hope he can tell me what I need to do to heal my wrist so I can get back to normal activities. It's kind of hindered some of my workout and work activities and it's getting frustrating. Oh well. Hope everyone else is doing well. I hope to be on the losing side someday..(weight wise that is)

Thanks Brenda, Got to see Dr. Kutz today. He says that sometime in my life I had injuried my wrist, though for the life of me I do NOT recall ever doing so. But the final verdict is that apparently my left wrist is out of line. The ulna bone is not in line with the radius bone, thus causing what they call ligament laxity. Plain in simple right? heh..He wanted to put my in a full arm cast to help it to heal. But I said if it was possible to continue to use the brace I already am using. He said, fine for now that if it is not helping in a few months give him a call and we will see what the next step would be. last resort is to go in and basically tighten that ligament and realign the bone in my wrist..oh joy. Needless to say, I'm going to be wearing the brace a little while longer. Bummer. mary
