heart problems

was just wandering if anyone has had surgery..with having any kind of heart problems before the surgery..i have 3 blocked arteries but diabetic and family dr suggest i have lapband surgery..thanks pam

Goodmorning Pam I am a huge advocate of WLS beit lapband or bypass. But the question about your heart can only be answered by the surgeon and the heart specialist..each patient is an individual and treated as such by any good surgeon. If the docs give you the OK to go with it, I am sure you will have great success!!! keep us informed..I am sure Dr. Shina or someone at his office would be able to answer your questions.
